Alp Blossom is a visually stunning and aromatically rich cheese crafted by Albert Kraus at a traditional dairy - Hofkäserei Kraus
Made from thermised cow’s milk, specifically from Brown Swiss cows known for their high butterfat and protein content.
Its rind is hand-coated with a vibrant mix of dried Alpine flowers and herbs—like cornflower, calendula, rose, lavender, and rosemary—sourced from the meadows surrounding the dairy.
Expect a semi-firm texture with sweet, nutty, and herbaceous notes. The floral rind adds a delicate aroma and a hint of meadow-like freshness.
Originally aged at Sennerei Huban in Austria, the cheese is then transported to Kaeskuche in Bavaria for its final floral dressing. It’s a true celebration of Alpine terroir—both in taste and appearance.
